I loved the snarky attitude of Everett, and the total commitment phobe that Silas was. There begins the tale and let me tell you… it dragged me in, and I stayed up way to late finishing the book. He sees the young man stumbling along and picks him up. Silas Sloane is O’Leary’s favorite police officer, and he is rushing back along the same road from a date gone bad when he got a call to return to O’Leary for an unrelated incident. Was it a ghost? With no other options, Everett is soon on his way down the road, dragging a suitcase and the cat carrier with him.Īlong comes the proverbial white knight. He stumbles up onto the road but there isn’t a man in sight. He turns quickly and misses the man, but in the process goes off the road and wrecks his car.

I knew from almost page one of The Fall, that I was going to enjoy this author and this book. I think I’ve read every book available in the series and I’ll be reviewing them each in turn. I stumbled onto this series on Amazon and thought this first book sounded interesting. Can they find their way to a future together, even as ghosts from the past threaten to tear them apart?
